We can offer a free prescription delivery service on your NHS repeat prescriptions. This service is available to patients in both England and Scotland. Prescription delivery is carried out by Royal Mail in most cases, and you will receive a tracking number so you can keep an eye on where your medication is in its delivery journey.
Delivery of prescriptions can also be provided for patients who receive fridge or controlled drug items. These require a signature and are sent by Next Day post, packaged with cooling materials. You must be in to receive these items or collect them within 24 hours of an attempted delivery.
At Simple Online Pharmacy, we are working hard to make our ordering process as simple as possible for our patients. Our NHS prescription home delivery service is an essential part of many people's lives, and we aim to provide the highest standard of care to all our patients.
We appreciate any feedback you may have about our service or site, so we can continue to make the ordering process as simple as possible.
NHS Prescription App
We have also developed an NHS prescription app, to make ordering and managing your medication from your smartphone, as easy as possible. The Simple NHS Prescriptions app, by Simple Online Pharmacy, is available in both the Apple app store, and Google Play app store.
You can use the app to manage and order your medications. You can also set your preferences on whether or not you would like to receive your medications via organised pouches (by time and day).
Order Prescriptions Online in Scotland
As well as in England, we now offer prescription delivery to patients in Scotland. The prescription process is a little slower than in England, as paper prescriptions are still required in Scotland. However, if you are in an area where you may be paying for delivery, or have long waiting lists for compliance aids, we can help! Delivery is free for all patients, and we also offer compliance aids, such as blister packs to patients who have 4 or more medications. You can read more about the Scottish NHS prescription service.
