So, here we explore how it works, how safe it is (in the short and long term), who should not use the treatment and serious side effects of finasteride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-is-finasteride\">What is Finasteride?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.simpleonlinepharmacy.co.uk\/online-doctor\/hair-loss\/finasteride\/\">Finasteride<\/a>, more commonly known by the brand name Propecia, was originally developed to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). They can tell you whether finasteride is suitable for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-does-finasteride-affect-fertility\">Does Finasteride Affect Fertility?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Taking finasteride is not thought to affect fertility directly. However, sexual dysfunction, such as a reduced sex drive or erectile dysfunction, is a known side effect.
