How does Anhydrol Forte work?
The 20% w/v solution works by blocking the sweat glands of the skin releasing the excess sweat. It also kills the bacteria on the skin responsible for producing body odour. This gives Anhydrol a deodorant action for sweaty areas such as the armpits, hands or feet.
How to use Anhydrol Forte
Before you apply anhydrol forte, ensure the skin is completely dry. It is best to apply the treatment at night, just before you go to bed, as sweat glands are least active while asleep. Avoid bathing or showering immediately before using the medicine.
Apply to the affected areas of the armpits, hands or feet for TWO nights in a row, followed by TWO nights of not applying the medicine. Continue this TWO days on and TWO days off cycle for as long as required.
After application, allow it to dry naturally which should only take a few minutes. If you are not treating your hands, wash your hands thoroughly after use. Make sure the treatment is left on overnight before being washed off in the morning.
You may increase or decrease use based on your response to the treatment however the more the medicine is used the more likely side effects are to occur.
If you are going to use antiperspirants or deodorants with Anhydrol Forte, ensure that you only apply them after washing off the medicine in the morning and that it is washed off before applying the treatment again at night.
Tips & Advice
General advice to improve excessive sweating and for general skin health would be to avoid wearing damp or clothing soiled with sweat. Wear light clothing and breathable footwear, especially when in warm or humid environments.

Do not use the treatment on areas other than the armpits, hands or feet. Avoid application to areas of broken or irritated skin. It is important not to shave or use hair removing preparation within 12 hours before or after use. Doing so can lead to further skin irritation.
Keep the solution away from the mouth, lips and nose. If contact occurs wash it off immediately and if irritation persists, contact a doctor as soon as possible.
Please note: The medicine can cause damage to linen, fabric, jewellery and metal if spilt. Keep these items away from the medicine and avoid touching them before the medicine is dry if treating the hands.
