About Calgel Teething Gel

Calgel Teething Gel contains a mild local anaesthetic, designed to help relieve the pain of teething. Calgel should only be used if non-medicinal methods, such as teething rings or massaging the gums have not provided relief. Calgel also acts as a minor antiseptic, meaning that the sore and opening parts of the gum are kept clean, preventing infections.

Calgel Teething Gel quickly numbs the painful areas, allowing relief during periods of teething pain.

FAQ

How does Calgel Teething Gel work?

Calgel Teething Gel contains lidocaine, an anaesthetic. Lidocaine blocks pain signals by closing off the nerve channels that carry these pain signals. Lidocaine acts quickly - in most cases, Calgel will take effect within a few minutes. Calgel also acts as a mild antiseptic, keeping the sore areas of the gum clean and preventing infections.
