Directions
How To Use Gaviscon Double Action
Adults and children over 12 - take 10-20ml (two to four 5ml spoonfuls) after meals and at bedtime, up to four times per day.
Children under 12 years - this product should only be taken on professional medical advice. Follow your doctor’s instructions.
If your symptoms persist after 7 days, please consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Do not take this product if you are allergic to any of the listed ingredients.
Please note that this product contains sodium and calcium. If you have been advised to follow a diet restricted in either of these, speak to your doctor before using this medication and take care to track how much you are taking. The maximum dose contains 51.15% of an adult’s daily recommended intake of sodium.
This medication can affect how your body processes other medications. Do not take this product for two hours after taking other medicines. Read the Patient Information Leaflet for a full list of medicines this may affect.
You can take this product if you are pregnant or breast feeding.

Ingredients
Gaviscon Double Action Ingredients
Active Ingredients - each 10 ml of oral suspension contains 500mg sodium alginate, 213mg sodium bicarbonate and 325mg calcium carbonate.
Other Ingredients - sodium, carbomer, methyl (E218) and propyl (E216) parahydroxybenzoates, sodium saccharin, mint flavour, sodium hydroxide and water.
This product does not contain sugar or gluten.
