Directions
How To Take Rennie Tablets
This medication is suitable for adults and children over 12 years.
Adults and children over 12 years - take two tablets, to be sucked or chewed as required. For best results, take 1 hour after meals and before bedtime. For heartburn, an extra 2 tablets can be taken between these times.
Do not take more than 10 tablets a day.
If symptoms persist after 14 days, please contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Warnings
Warnings for use of Rennie Tablets
Do not use Rennie Tablets if you are allergic to any of the listed ingredients.
Rennie Tablets are not suitable if you have high calcium or low phosphate levels in the blood, high calcium in your urine, or if you have severe kidney problems.
Rennie is suitable for use during pregnancy and breast feeding, if taken as instructed. However, always consult your doctor or pharmacist before using any medications during pregnancy.
In long-term use, this medication may cause high blood levels of magnesium and calcium, especially in people with kidney conditions. Symptoms of this may include;
- Nausea, vomiting, upset stomach and diarrhoea
- Tiredness, muscular weakness
- Headache
- Kidney problems
- Impaired sense of taste

Other Ingredients - sorbitol (E420), magnesium stearate, potato starch, pregelatinised maize starch, talc, spearmint flavour, liquid paraffin, saccharin sodium.
