FAQ

How does Senokot work?

Senokot is a mild stimulant laxative. This means that it stimulates the muscles in the bowel, allowing them to move faeces through at a normal rate. Senokot usually has an effect within 8 to 12 hours of taking the tablets. This is why it’s recommended to take the tablets at night before bedtime.
