Practical Tips

Muscle aches and pains can be difficult to live with, whether it’s after a workout or as part of a chronic condition.

Stretch First - before taking any exercise, it is important to stretch your muscles. Check online for a pre-exercise stretch routine that will relax the muscles you are going to use during your workout. Stretching reduces the chance of tearing your muscles, and allows them to relax properly without tensing.

Heat and cold - both heat and cold can help with muscle pain, but at different points in the recovery process. Heat therapy is best used immediately after exercise, while a cold compress can help later on, once the muscles have relaxed.

Pressure - a pressure bandage or compression garment can help muscles heal after exercise, but increasing blood flow to the muscles.

How does Tiger Balm White work?

Tiger Balm contains a mixture of herbal substances, designed to help ease pain. Camphor stimulates the nerve ending in the skin, providing a cooling sensation when the balm is gently applied, and a warming sensation when applied vigorously. Menthol and clove oil both act as pain relievers.

When spread onto the skin, TIger Balm will slowly absorb into the skin to take effect, reducing pain and helping to ease sore or stiff muscles.

Tension headaches are often caused by tension in the muscles of the head and neck - Tiger Balm helps these muscles to relax, relieving the headache.
