What is Anusol Plus?
Anusol Plus HC Ointment helps to reduce inflammation and ease the pain involved when experiencing haemorrhoids (piles).
How does Anusol Plus work?
One of Anusol's active ingredients, Hydrocortisone acetate, is a type of medicine that works by reducing inflammation, which reduces swelling and itching.
Anusol's other active ingredients help to constrict blood vessels and promote the growth of new skin cells.
How do I use Anusol Plus?
Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying Anusol Plus
Anusol Plus ointment should be used in the morning, before bed and after a bowel movement. However, you should not use the ointment for more than 4 times a day.
For external use: Gently apply a small amount of ointment around the anal area
For internal use: Attach the nozzle provided to the ointment tube. Gently insert the nozzle into the rectum, and squeeze a small amount. Then gently remove the nozzle and clean thoroughly.
Anusol Plus should not be used for more than 7 days
What are the side effects of Anusol Plus?
