As Chief Clinical Officer, Abdal leads our clinical strategy and works with a world-class multidisciplinary team. His focus is on ensuring our services remain safe, effective, and centred on patient needs, while driving innovation to make healthcare simpler, smarter, and more accessible.
Abdal specialises in navigating the evolving landscape of digital healthcare, with expertise in clinical governance, patient safety, and strategic direction. He is particularly focused on blending innovation with high standards of care to improve outcomes and enhance the patient experience.
Abdal joined Simple Online Pharmacy in 2020, and has progressed through a variety of leadership roles, from Superintendent Pharmacist to Clinical Director, and now Chief Clinical Officer.
His career has been driven by a passion for advancing patient care and shaping the future of digital healthcare in the UK.
Outside of work, Abdal loves spending time with his family, whether that’s exploring new places when travelling, enjoying meals out together, or simply relaxing at home.
Reading is one of his favourite ways to unwind, and he also enjoys discovering new ideas through books and conversations, which often inspire both his personal and professional life.
