About

Since October, Ayisha has been working as a Registered Associate Nutritionist at Simple, helping patients manage their diets while on Mounjaro. She helps people figure out how to eat in a way that works for them, rather than against them – without giving up the good stuff (because life is too short for sad salads).

Ayisha’s ultimate goal is making nutrition more accessible, especially in the South Asian community. The food and traditions are incredible, but there’s a serious lack of education on how to balance them with a healthy lifestyle. She wants to help bridge that gap so people can enjoy their culture and their health at the same time.

What gets Ayisha out of bed in the morning? Well, besides her alarm clock’s persistent betrayal, she’d say her own health journey. Ayisha knows what it’s like to struggle, and knows how much of a difference small, sustainable changes can make. So, if she can help even one person feel better, that’s enough motivation for her.

Interests

Fun fact! If you have ever watched Balamory, you might have spotted Ayisha’s little head making an appearance in multiple seasons. That’s right – she peaked in primary school!

Moving: Ayisha loves swimming – though it took her signing up for a lesson at 26 years of age to realise that fact!
Chilling out: As she nears the end of her 20s, Ayisha has found that her favourite activity is… nothing. Everyone warned her about this age-related exhaustion, and honestly? They were right.
Challenges: Mastering the art of looking calm while internally panicking. Life is one big ‘fake it till you make it’ moment – so far, so good!
