About Ian Coakley

Ian is Simple Online Pharmacy’s Content Writer; he joined the team in 2021. He has had a varied career path, starting as a science communicator and freelance editor and writer. While Ian has been published in some independent outfits, Simple Online Pharmacy marks his first foray into writing for a corporate entity.

Ian’s primary goal is to share information with his readers; he feels that everyone benefits when we all know more, and patients who are well-informed of the mechanics, benefits and potential risks of their medications are in a much better place to trust Simple Online Pharmacy with their health.

Moving forward, he wants Simple Online Pharmacy’s Health Centre to be the most comprehensive, patient-focused repository of knowledge it can be.

Interests

In his spare time, Ian explores other avenues for his creativity, including painting and sculpting. He moonlights as a writer for other small independent publications, and has plans to publish his own fiction efforts in the future.
