About

Shereen is a Pharmacist Independent Prescriber and medical writer with over ten years’ experience across NHS primary care, digital health and specialist telemedicine services. Her clinical background includes six years in general practice, where she delivered medication review clinics, supported chronic disease management and worked across a broad range of therapeutic areas.

She went on to work in digital health, prescribing for dermatology, ADHD and GLP-1 weight management services. This combination of hands-on clinical practice and digital healthcare experience shapes her approach to medical writing: she understands what patients need to know, when they need to know it, and how to present information in a way that helps rather than overwhelms.

Shereen believes that good health content should empower people to make informed decisions about their care. At Simple Online Pharmacy, she writes patient-facing articles that take the complexity out of clinical topics without losing accuracy.

Interests

When she’s not either writing or prescribing in one of her clinical roles, Shereen can usually be found down at the yard with her two horses, who take up most of her spare time (and money!). She has home educated her two children for almost nine years and is now navigating the teenage years and exam preparation. She also helps run one of her local home education community groups, supporting other parents and organising educational workshops and trips, and is currently writing her first book on GLP-1 medications.
