What do I do if I miss taking my Cilest pill?
If two or more pills are missed (ie more than 48 hours late), you should take the last pill missed immediately, even if it means taking two pills in a single day.
The rest of the pack should be taken as usual and additional precautions (eg, condoms or abstinence) should be taken for the next seven days.
If you've missed one pill anywhere in the pack or if you started a new pack one day late, you're still protected against pregnancy. However, you should take the last pill you missed, even if this means taking two pills in one day.
You can then continue the rest of the pack as normal.
