About Anbesol Liquid
Anbesol liquid is used to relieve pain and discomfort from mouth ulcers, teething and denture irritation. It does this by using a local anaesthetic that stops the sensation of pain and chlorocresol and cetylpyridinium chloride to kill bacteria.
For teething pain relief, it can be used in children 5 months of age once non-medicinal methods such as teething rings and massaging the gums cannot provide enough oral pain relief.
For adults, it may be used for quick, short-acting relief from recurrent mouth ulcers and denture irritation.
