Overview

Buy Alli For Weight Loss Online

You can buy alli online from our UK registered pharmacy. This is a clinically proven weight loss aid when used alongside a calorie-restricted diet and exercise. It can help you lose more weight than dieting alone. For every 2kg you lose from dieting alone, alli might help you lose up to 1kg more.

Alli 60mg is a ‘pharmacy’ medicine which means you must complete a short online questionnaire for our pharmacist to check. If your order is approved, your medicine will be dispatched to your address from our online pharmacy using discreet packaging.

What is alli?

It is a licensed medicine used as a weight loss aid. It contains the active ingredient orlistat 60mg, which is clinically proven to aid weight loss in people following a calorie-restricted diet and exercise regime. Alli reduces the amount of fat the body absorbs from food.

It is suitable for people who are overweight and have a body mass index (BMI) of 28 or above. Alli is a well known branded version of the generic medicine orlistat. See our online doctor weight loss clinic to order generic orlistat, or a new weight loss medicine called Saxenda.

How does alli work?

It contains the active ingredient orlistat. This is designed to target fat in your digestive system. It stops around a quarter of that fat you eat from being absorbed by your body.

The fat that isn’t absorbed passes through your digestive system and out of your body in your stools. This is the reason for some of the side effects you may experience with alli, like oily stools.

FAQ

Is alli a good weight loss pill?

Alli (orlistat) has been clinically proven to aid weight loss alongside a calorie-restricted diet. It has been shown to help people lose more weight than just dieting alone. For every 2kg you lose from dieting alone, alli might help you lose up to 1kg more.

How long does it take for alli pills to take effect?

You should notice some weight loss after 12 weeks of treatment. If you find that you haven’t lost any weight in this time, you should speak to your doctor or pharmacist for advice. It might be that you should stop taking alli, or you need to change your diet or exercise regime.  Treatment with alli pills in the UK should not be longer than 6 months.

What should I eat when taking alli?

You should be following a balanced diet but eating fewer calories than you usually would. Around 30% of your daily calories should come from fat and your fat intake should be evenly distributed over your main meals. See our blog post on how to get the best results from orlistat for detailed information.

How many alli tablets should I take a day?

You should take one capsule three times a day with meals. If you skip a meal or eat a meal with no fat, there is no need to take a dose. The maximum dose is 3 capsules in a 24 hour period.

Where can I buy alli diet pills in the UK?

Alli weight loss pills are available to buy from our online pharmacy shop. Simply complete a quick assessment for our pharmacist to review. If your order is approved, your medicine will be delivered to your delivery address using discreet packaging.

Side Effects

Alli Side Effects

Most of the common side effects people experience are due to the way the medicine works. The excess fat that passes through your body can cause side effects like soft stools, fatty or oily stools, and sudden bowel motions. Other common side effects include stomach pain, incontinence, and more frequent bowel movements.

There are less common side effects that can be severe. See section 4 of the patient information leaflet for a complete list of possible side effects.

Info Leaflet

Before taking any medication, it is important to read the Patient Information Leaflet. You can find information leaflets for your medicines by typing them into the search bar at medicines.org, or by contacting us.

Directions

How to take alli

You should begin your reduced calorie lower fat diet a few days before starting the capsules. This allows your body to have some time to adjust to your new diet. You should also set a daily target for calories and a daily target for fat. See section 6 of the patient information leaflet for further information.

The alli dose is to take one capsule three times a day. Usually, a dose is taken with each main meal of the day (breakfast, lunch, dinner). This can be just before, during, or up to one hour after meals.

If you skip a meal, or your meal contains no fat, you can skip your dose of alli. This is because it works by stopping fat from being absorbed by the body. If a meal contains no fat, alli will not be effective and is not needed.

Warnings

Warnings

Alli capsules should not be taken if you are allergic to orlistat or any of the ingredients in the capsules. It is not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Anyone taking ciclosporin or blood thinners like warfarin should not take alli.

If you get severe diarrhoea from alli, it may make the contraceptive pill less effective. You should use additional contraception methods if you experience severe diarrhoea.

Taking this medicine can reduce the absorption of certain vitamins, like vitamins A, D, E and K. For this reason, it’s recommended that you take a multivitamin every day during treatment. A multivitamin is usually taken once a day at bedtime because it can be absorbed better overnight when you haven’t taken a dose of alli.
