What is Acnecide?
Acnecide is an over the counter Acne Treatment Gel.

The active ingredient contained in Acnecide is Benzoyl Peroxide.
How does Acnecide work?
Acnecide works by breaking down the top layer of skin cells, unblocking your sebaceous glands (a small gland that produces sebum oil for your skin) and helps to prevent new Blackheads and Whiteheads forming. Acnecide's active ingredient Benzoyl Peroxide directly targets and kills off acne causing bacteria helping to reduce any inflammation of your sebaceous glands which would lead to spots.
How do I use Acnecide?
Wash your skin with a mild cleanser
Gently pat your skin dry, as rubbing can cause irritation
Apply the Acnecide Gel to the affected areas
Wash your hands free of any leftover Gel. Taking care to not get any Gel on any sensitive areas, especially your eyes, mouth or entrance of the nose. Should any gel accidently get on these areas, wash throughly with fresh water!
How long until I see results with Acnecide?
We have to take good care of our skin. It will take around 6 weeks for your acne to improve. The key is to persevere and be patient! However should you go 2 months without seeing an improvement, we recommend contacting your doctor.
Can I use Acnecide while pregnant or breastfeeding?
You should always consult your doctor if you are breastfeeding, pregnant, planning to become pregnant or suffer from any allergies before using Acnecide.
