Losec MUPS tablets Online
Losec MUPS is a proton pump inhibitor which is used in the treatment of indigestion and gastroesophageal reflux disease which is more commonly known as acid reflux it also has several other indications. The most common alternative is ranitidine which is an histamine-2 blocker.
How does Losec MUPS work?
Losec MUPS works by acting on cells in the stomach causing them to release less gastric acid which in turn reduces symptoms.
NOTE: This medication should be taken for a maximum of 4-5 days. If symptoms persist after this time, please see your GP, as the symptoms require investigation. Acid reflux medications can mask the symptoms of more serious conditions, such as esophageal cancer.
