Eczema is a chronic, relapsing, inflammatory skin condition. Skin conditions such as eczema normally present as an itchy red rash.  This is often found in the folds of the elbows or behind the knees.

Eczema can also have a link to other conditions such as hayfever or asthma.  It is also quite common in children and often involves the scalp and face.
