About Hydromol Emollient Cream

Hydromol is an emollient cream, designed to soothe and hydrate the skin. It is designed for conditions such as psoriasis, ichthyosis, dry skin and eczema.

Hydromol can be used either as a bath additive, fully dispersing in warm water, or directly applied to the skin as a topical treatment. Once in place, it soothes the skin and creates a barrier over it to help keep moisture in, and prevent further irritation.

This emollient is free from preservatives and fragrances, to make it useable by even the most sensitive skin.

FAQ

What is Hydromol?

Hydromol Bath & Shower is fragrance-free emollient cream, designed to treat dry skin conditions, such as psoriasis, eczema and ichthyosis.

How does Hydromol work?

Hydromol is an emollient cream. That means it is designed to be applied to the skin, where it forms a protective barrier over the skin. This prevents further irritation by environmental factors, and also prevents further drying of the skin by moisture loss.

Hydromol Bath and Shower is designed to be used either as a bath additive (adding it to a running bath to ensure full coverage), or applied to a wet sponge or flannel and used directly like a shower gel or soap.

What does Hydromol treat?

Hydromol is formulated to treat a wide variety of dry skin conditions, including eczema, psoriasis, and ichthyosis. It can also be used to treat senile pruritus.

Can I use Hydromol on my face?

Hydromol’s delicate formula means that it can be used on the face. However, care should be taken to avoid contact with the eyes.
