About Microlet Lancets
Microlet lancets are silicone-coated, for easier and gentler testing. With a better grip and less force required to remove the cap, Microlet lancets are a safer alternative to other lancets.
Please note, Microlet lancets are sharp. Take care when handling them, and only dispose of used lancets in a designated sharps bin once you have tested your blood sugar.

FAQ
Can a lancet be used more than once?
It is advised that you use a new lancet each time, as a hygiene concern. Each new lancet is as sharp as it will ever be; each time it is used, it will be blunted slightly, meaning that the best option is always a new lancet to ensure minimal tissue damage.
However, occasionally circumstances will dictate reusing a lancet. Each lancet should still be sharp enough to draw blood after a few uses, but this is not ideal. Do not share a used lancet with anyone else to prevent cross-contamination.
Why are Microlet lancets different colours?
Each lancet in a pack will be colour coded to help remind you that your lancet should be changed after each use.
