About Pro-Plus Tablets 

Pro-Plus tablets are designed for the relief of temporary tiredness. Each Pro-Plus tablet contains 50mg of caffeine (a stimulant), to help maintain mental alertness and help you feel less tired.

Each Pro-Plus tablet contains 50mg of caffeine, roughly the same amount of caffeine as a strong coffee. This caffeine blocks the body’s production of adenosine, a chemical associated with sleep. Once this chemical is blocked, the body releases adrenaline in response, providing increased energy and alertness.

Pro-Plus tablets are not suitable for those who are allergic to caffeine, or are sensitive to it.

Pro-Plus Caffeine Tablets Side Effects

As with all medications, some users may experience side effects when using Pro-Plus Tablets - however, most will not.

The recommended safe limit for caffeine is 400mg per day.Most people will not experience side effects if they stay under this amount. However, some people are more sensitive to caffeine, and may experience side effects at lower doses. This can include those who have never had caffeine, or have not had caffeine in a long time.

These side effects may include;

• Tremor (shaking)
• Palpitations and rapid breathing
• Insomnia
• Nervousness, irritability or anxiety
• Headache, tinnitus
• Nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea
• An increased need to pass water

Pro-Plus Tablets Dosage 

This product is unsuitable for children under 16 years.

Take 1 or 2 tablets as required during the day. Do not take more than 2 tablets in 3 hours, or more than 8 tablets per day. 

Take tablets with or without water. Do not take with tea, coffee or other caffeinated food or beverages.

Tiredness may not be caused by lack of sleep or rest. If your tiredness persists, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Warnings for use of Pro-Plus Tablets 

Please note, Pro-Plus contains caffeine. Do not use this product if you are allergic to caffeine, or any of the listed ingredients.

Do not take Pro-Plus if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

These tablets are not suitable for those who have high blood pressure, are taking any medication to treat high blood pressure, have anxiety or  heart rhythm disorder.

Pro-Plus tablets can cause interactions with other medications. Do not take these tablets if you are currently taking any of the following;

• Decongestants which contain ephedrine
• Antidepressants or mood stabilisers
• Anxiolytics or sedatives
• Theophylline
• Disulfiram
• Antipsychotic medications
