What causes hair loss?

How does Viviscal work?

Hair loss can be caused by many different factors, including genetic ones. However, in most cases, there is a pattern of hair follicle behaviour that can be tracked.

Hair growth occurs in 4 stages - in the Growing phase, the hair follicle is fed by blood vessels, which carry the nutrients required to create new hair. Once the hair has reached its maximum length, it reaches the Transition phase, where it separates from the nutrient supply, then into the Resting phase, where the hair is at its maximum length. As the hair falls out, it passes into the Exogen phase, where new hair growth can begin.

In hair loss, the hair follicles enter the resting phase and stay in that phase for some time before dying off. Viviscal Extra Strength is a food supplement - it provides all of the nutrients required to move your hair follicles from the Resting Phase into a phase of new growth, and prolongs the Growth phase for healthier, thicker hair growth.

Can Viviscal help me grow back lost hair?

Viviscal can help to reactivate some hair follicles. However, this will only work on hair follicles which are in the Resting phase of hair growth. Hair follicles which are already dead cannot be revived by Viviscal, meaning that the earlier you start treatment, the better results you may see.

Viviscal Side Effects

How To Use Viviscal 
Take one tablet, twice per day (morning and night) with water, after food.

Take this product daily, for a minimum of 3 months. Take for 3 to 6 months for optimal results.

After this initial period, take 1-2 tablets daily as required for maintenance.
