How to take:
- Shake the inhaler vigorously
- Open the cap on the mouthpiece of the inhaler
- Breath out and place the mouthpiece of the inhaler in your mouth and wrap your lips around it tightly. Start taking a slow and deep breath in as you are doing this press on the canister in the inhaler to release a dose. Continue to breathe in slowly even once the dose has been released.
- Now hold your breath for approximately 10 seconds or as long as you are comfortable.
- After using the inhaler hold it upright and replace the cap
- If you are planning on taking a second dose wait about one minute.
Ensure you are not allergic to any of the ingredients in the inhaler mainly salbutamol and HFA 134a.
If you have a severe heart condition such as ischaemic heart disease, arrhythmia or severe heart failure you should seek medical advice if you have used salbutamol and are experiencing chest pains or symptoms of worsening heart disease.
