As with all medicines, it may have side effects, yet not everyone will experience them. Some side effects may include:

Directions
Colpermin Dose
For adults and children over 15 years, take one capsule three times a day. If the symptoms are severe, the dose may be increased to two capsules taken up to three times daily.
The treatment may be taken until symptoms resolve. This may be up to one to two weeks normally. If symptoms persist it may be used for up to two to three months.
Do NOT take this medicine with food or other indigestion remedies or prescription medicines for indigestion as they may damage the capsules.
Swallow the capsules whole as they are formulated in a sustained-release capsule. Do not chew or break the capsules as it will affect how they are absorbed.
Warnings
Do not take this medicine if you have:
- A peanut or soya allergy (Contains peanut oil)
- If you have had a bad reaction to any ingredient listed
You should consult your doctor or pharmacist if:
- Your symptoms worsen or do not improve after 2 weeks of treatment
- Your symptoms have changed and you are over 40
- You notice blood in the stool
- You have severe weight loss
