About

Sabeela has been working as a pharmacist for over 10 years. Starting her career as a hospital pharmacist in a teaching hospital, she was exposed to specialist areas, undertook a busy residency programme and developed a solid foundation knowledge base. She then moved on to a specialist respiratory pharmacist role at another teaching hospital, working closely with the medical team and participating in daily multi-disciplinary ward rounds and directorate work. Following this time, she made a career change and started working for Simple Online Pharmacy.

Going forward, Sabeela hopes to lead the prescribing team at Simple Online Pharmacy in such a way that exemplary clinical and patient care is at the forefront of all our decisions, and sets us apart from our competitors.

Sabeela feels her primary drive is doing her best in all aspects of her life, to make her mum and maternal aunt proud of who she is and who she is to become. Both heartbreakingly passed away in 2024 within a week of one another and were her biggest role models and cheerleaders in life. The example they set drives and pushes her to be the best version of herself. Alongside this, she strives to set an example for her 2 children, just as her mother and aunt did for her.

Interests

Sabeela cherishes the quality time she get to spend with her family and friends, and has a great love of travelling and experiencing the world through the eyes of her 2 young children. She finds fitting in time for exercise to be a real struggle as a busy working mum, and therefore always pushes herself to ensure dedicated time for a workout is a non-negotiable!
