Method

  1. In a medium-sized pot, bring the water to a boil. 
  2. Add the sliced ginger and turmeric to the boiling water, reduce the heat to low, and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes. 
  3. Turn off the heat and strain the tea through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth. 
  4. Add honey and lemon juice to taste, if desired. 
  5. Serve the tea hot and enjoy!Â
