With a Master of Pharmacy degree from Strathclyde University, Karim brings a strong foundation in pharmaceutical care and a passion for leveraging digital solutions to improve patient access to healthcare.

Ian is Simple Online Pharmacy’s Content Writer; he joined the team in 2021. He has had a varied career path, starting as a science communicator and freelance editor and writer. While Ian has been published in some independent outfits, Simple Online Pharmacy marks his first foray into writing for a corporate entity.

Hywel has been a registered pharmacist since 2017; he started with Simple Online Pharmacy in 2020. Hywel was responsible for helping review and author accurate site content. He worked with our GPs to make sure all aspects of the medications mentioned are covered.

Richard WoodPharmacist / Clinical Specialist

Richard is a pharmacist and content reviewer at Simple Online Pharmacy. He officially joined the team in 2024 after several years of working with the company as a contractor. Prior to that, he spent over 11 years as a community pharmacist, building a strong foundation in patient care.

Shereen AminPharmacist Independent Prescriber & Medical Writer

Shereen is a Pharmacist Independent Prescriber and medical writer with over ten years’ experience across NHS primary care, digital health and specialist telemedicine services. Her clinical background includes six years in general practice, where she delivered medication review clinics, supported chronic disease management and worked across a broad range of therapeutic areas.

Safiyyah started working with Simple Online Pharmacy in 2023 and is currently working towards a degree in medicine. With her clinical knowledge, she aims to write clinically sound content that is easy to understand for all audiences.

Laura brings a wealth of expertise to her role as Clinical Nutrition Lead at Simple Online Pharmacy. She has been with us since 2022. Laura is an expert in obesity management, eating disorders, and clinical nutrition.

Zahra began her pharmacy career in community pharmacy, building a strong foundation in patient care and medication safety. She joined Simple Online Pharmacy as a locum pharmacist and quickly progressed to a senior role, supporting the pharmacy and operations teams. Zahra is passionate about ensuring patient guidance is safe, clinically sound, and easy to understand, making a positive difference to patients’ lives.

Isabel FinchContent Manager

Isabel is the Content Manager at Simple Online Pharmacy, joining the team in August 2024. She started her career as a journalist in 2017, and has written for publications including Chemist+Druggist, the Manchester Evening News and the Guardian. She moved into PR and marketing during the pandemic and has since written, edited and managed content for a number of brands.

Hannah Morgan is a content writer at Simple Online Pharmacy. She started her career as a health, fitness and scientific writer and researcher in 2022, alongside a degree in Biomedical Science. She has since worked as a content writer for various companies, brands and a well-known YouTuber. Hannah’s main goal is to provide scientifically-backed and engaging content.

Tyson is a clinical pharmacist in charge of the development and improvement of patient services for Simple Online Doctor Australia. He provides clinical support to our team of healthcare professionals and ensures patient health and wellbeing are at the centre of all our services.

Ayisha MushtaqRegistered Associate Nutritionist

Since October, Ayisha has been working as a Registered Associate Nutritionist at Simple, helping patients manage their diets while on Mounjaro. She helps people figure out how to eat in a way that works for them, rather than against them – without giving up the good stuff (because life is too short for sad salads).
