Take a missed Foundayo dose as soon as you remember, but never take two tablets in one day. Contact us if you have missed more than one dose in a row.

Dose and time on treatment are the first checks when you are not losing weight on Foundayo. A true plateau is different to a slow start and can be a normal part of your weight loss journey.

Foundayo has been available in the UK on private prescription since August 2026, following MHRA approval. NHS funding still awaits a decision by NICE.

Foundayo food restrictions do not exist at any dose. You choose when to take your tablet to best fit your routine, with or without food. No fasting is required.

Foundayo starts at 0.8 mg and climbs in six steps to a maximum of 17.2 mg. Each step needs at least 30 days at the dose below it.

Stopping Foundayo can lead to weight regain, as your appetite returns. We explain what you might notice in the weeks and months that follow, and how to plan a safe, supported stop if you decide to discontinue treatment.

Foundayo and other medications work together safely in most cases. Some statins, birth control pills and diabetes treatments need a dose change or extra care. Give your prescriber your full list.

Foundayo eases appetite within weeks. Most of the weight loss happens in the first six months, and the pace slows after that. Foundayo is not yet UK-approved.
