Foundayo food restrictions do not exist at any dose. You choose when to take your tablet to best fit your routine, with or without food. No fasting is required.

Foundayo starts at 0.8 mg and climbs in six steps to a maximum of 17.2 mg. Each step needs at least 30 days at the dose below it.

Stopping Foundayo can lead to weight regain, as your appetite returns. We explain what you might notice in the weeks and months that follow, and how to plan a safe, supported stop if you decide to discontinue treatment.

Foundayo and other medications work together safely in most cases. Some statins, birth control pills and diabetes treatments need a dose change or extra care. Give your prescriber your full list.

Foundayo produces less average weight loss than Mounjaro in trials. But it is a convenient daily pill with no needles. Current evidence suggests you should not regain weight if you stay on it.

Foundayo is not licensed in the UK yet. Once it arrives, switching from Wegovy to Foundayo should need no long washout, and your starting dose is likely to reflect your current one.

Foundayo eases appetite within weeks. Most of the weight loss happens in the first six months, and the pace slows after that. Foundayo is not yet UK-approved.

Mounjaro produces more weight loss. Foundayo lets you skip the needles and instead take a pill at any time of day. The question is whether the extra weight loss is worth more to you than the convenience.

Foundayo (orforglipron) weight loss results show around 11% average body weight loss on the highest dose over 72 weeks. Individual response varies.

Switching to Foundayo from another GLP-1, like Wegovy or Mounjaro, is possible. Your prescriber can advise you if there is a need for a wash out period. Most people restart at 0.8 mg and step up monthly. Patients may face side effects from switching.
