1. More active ingredient. Lemsip Max contains 1000g of paracetamol, vs 650g for Lemsip cold and flu. It also contains 12.8mg of phenylephrine vs just 10mg for the original version.
2. More flavours/forms. Lemsip max comes in a variety of flavours and is usually available in more flavours than the Lemsip Original range. You may find flavours ranging from the standard Lemon and Blackcurrant to Honey & Ginger.

Can I use Lemsip for Coronavirus?

If you are suffering from coronavirus, you may experience many of the same symptoms you would if suffering from the flu. Lemsip will help alleviate these symptoms. It should be noted however that Coronavirus can have several other more significant symptoms. If you are having difficulty breathing, you should seek emergency help immediately. Yes. Lemsip Max contains 1000g of paracetamol which is the maximum single dose. Up to 4000g of paracetamol can be taken in a day. You should leave 4-6 hours between doses of paracetamol. 

Can I overdose on Lemsip?

Yes. As Lemsip contains paracetamol and a decongestant, it is possible to overdose on both of these medicines. This possibility increases if you are taking other cold and flu remedies. Many cold and flu remedies contain these ingredients, so you should always read the label to make sure any other products you are taking don't contain the same, or similar ingredients.
